Olympics Presentation

 We have been doing olympics in our class for LCS and here is mine.

Technology At Tamaki College

On Wednesday Glen Taylor School seniors had Tech. Im in Science and we were learning about floating and sinking. Mr Malhotra pulled out some different types of equiptment and we all had to get one of each.We had to predict if it would float or sink.

I really enjoyed predicting and seeing if i were correct. I was buddied up with Anastasia, we were able to finish the whole project. 

the thing that Anastasia and i were struggling with was messuring and weighing the equiptment because we were having a little difficulties trying to work the scale.

Overall the project was reslly fun! Cant wait to go back to Tech next week wednesday.

Feedback of Tech

Today I loved doing cooking, We made veggie up pizza. I buddied up with Anastasia and we had to put our bags in the little cupboards, wash our hands and then put an apron on. I enjoyed making the pizza with Anastasia, there was a lot of things we needed to do, After we finished with all the stuff we used to cut up all of the ingredients and other things we had to wash them. I liked the pizza and shared with Destiny. After tech was finished I started hanging out with my friends. The pizza tasted really amazing and I’m proud of what Anastasia and I made.

Cycle Safety

The past two days the year sevens went cycling and were learning about the safety of riding a bike. We all were showed an example of how to see if your bike and helmet is safe and then we got split into to groups.  Once we got into our groups we got given a bike to grab them we were taught the main things to do when your riding on the road. I enjoyed some of the lessons but then again I feel like there was too much talking, I was excited to go off straight away but we had to be taught and had to see an example of all the lessons. My legs were hurting so much when we finished after the whole day but I enjoyed a lot of it.

My Thoughts On How My First Day Back Was

 Yesterday my class had to get into groups of 5-6 and make up a game, after we got into our groups we had to go find some things we needed for the game and start figuring out what we were gonna do for a game. We stopped when the bell rang and had to get our morning tea, After morning tea James came into our class and asked us what we think the value in FIRE meant to us. After we shared our ideas he took us out to the field and put us into groups and we played a game he calls Frisbee Golf. Then we ended off with games of monopoly. 

 

The Lonely Road

This week i have been writing story's based on animated pictures. This picture inspired me to write a short but alright story? I enjoyed writing this story and i hope you like it!

Teaching Room 6 How To Speak Tongan

 4 days ago Anittah and I were teaching room 6 how to count from 1 to 10 in Tongan and how to pronounce greetings, by the last day they already knew how to sing the alphabet and how to count to 20. At first it was pretty hard for them but they got through it! 

SINA AND THE EEL

SINA AND THE EEL ( 25/5/20)

There was a girl her name was Sina,

Sina had a friend, he was an eel. Sina and the eel would swim together on dark hours, The eel told Sina that he once was a prince. A few days past and the eel was getting bigger and more demanding for her love,

 Sina then got scared and managed to escape and go to her family members in a nearby village but everywhere Sina went the eel managed to follow her. Sina was telling her cousin and uncle about her fear of  the eel and how demanding he was, the cousin and the eel was having a battle, the battle begun and the cousin slit the eel’s head

The eel asked sina to bury his head, Sina did what he asked and it grew a coconut tree each time a coconut grew on the tree it would have the eel’s face on it, two eyes and one mouth, every time Sina drank the juice in the coconut it will actually mean she’s kissing him

On the 20th of February, Our teacher told us that we could make ice blocks tomorrow, at first we didn't react as she thought but then we all started screaming especially Logan, Then came the next day but we were mucking around so our teacher said that were making it another day because we were mucking around.

Wednesday 26th February, we got to school and we were all being good and showing integrity so our teacher said we could make it today. We were all very happy and excited. After lunch we all got into class and our teacher had raro, fizzy,water, cups and glad wrap,  we had to add a little bit of raro into our cups, we got to choose the flavour out of lemonade and raspberry, I chose lemonade and Mere chose Raspberry, then we had to add water until our cups were filled halfway with water, then we had to fill the cup up all the way to the top with fizzy and then we had to rinse our popsicle stick then we had to go to mrs Fonua and she put glad wrap on top of our cups then we put tape around it , and then we had to poke our popsicle sticks into our cups, lastly we had to put it in the freezer the next 2 days we took it out of the freezer and took a nice class photo,then the bell ring as loud as my mum screams the did karakia and i saw every one in my classroom showing it off to people to make them jealous and walk and took a ride from home.
